Communion on Good Friday

On this Good Friday, we invite you to spend time at home with your families remembering the sacrifice of our Lord.

Elements: The Bread and The Cup

  • Carolyn Dill has graciously provided communion bread. It is prepackaged and available for pick-up in the church foyer on Friday from 3:30-6:30 pm. For those who are unable to go out, please be in touch with Pastor Brandon by Thursday to arrange door-step delivery. Alternatively, you may use bread that you have at home.
  • For the cup, you may use juice or water.

Scripture Reading: John 19

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, we thank you for the sacrifice that you have made for us. As we eat this bread, we remember your body that was broken, and as we drink this cup, we remember your blood that was shed. We are grateful that we have forgiveness through faith in you. We thank you that you took the punishment for our sin and that we now stand before you as recipients of your grace and mercy. Fill us with your life, we pray, in your holy name. Amen.
